Outside of Bendon Little the Cubs first round selections have fared pretty good. Ryan Jensen's slider looks vicious. What is his velocity range on his heater. With some good pitching coaching on his control he has the makings of a #1 or #2 starter. Nice column Dustin.

His heater sits 96 98 nearly all start long. Has touched 99 and 100 numerous times. I agree about his slider. When that pitch is on it is around 92 with frisbee like break. Thrown in a seldom used but 88 mph change and he could be a force if his control is fine tuned
